As part of a strategic planning assignment for San Bernardino County, California, GBB evaluated the infrastructure and operations needs and costs for several transfer stations with rail siding and equipped for loading and off-loading intermodal containers for rail delivery to remote landfill.

GBB prepared cost estimates, advised the County, and participated in negotiations with WMX Technologies regarding the railhaul of the County’s municipal waste.
