GBB was selected to provide assistance with planning, analysis and recommendations to advance Prince William County’s waste reduction and recycling efforts, including:

Recycling:

• Evaluate opportunities for increasing recycling in businesses, institutions, residential and multifamily dwelling units.
• Expand the types of recyclables collected in the County, as feasible.
• Improve public outreach programs to better promote and identify recycling opportunities

Waste Reduction

• Improve public outreach programs to better promote and identify source reduction and reuse opportunities.
• Identify and implement source reduction and reuse alternatives for County government facilities.
• Promote residential grasscycling.
