Vienna, VA (November 18, 2025) – Gershman, Brickner & Bratton, Inc. (GBB) is pleased to announce that Gus Esposito has joined the firm as Associate focused on collection route analysis and optimization. A seasoned transportation and operations professional with over a decade of experience driving route optimization initiatives across North America and the Caribbean, he specializes in analyzing and enhancing fleet performance for public- and private-sector entities in waste and recycling collection, street sweeping, snow plowing, and meter reading.
With a strong track record of implementing large-scale SaaS-based routing and optimization solutions, he excels at aligning advanced technologies with operational goals and customer needs. His expertise spans the full project lifecycle—from solution architecture and deployment to training and performance refinement—consistently delivering efficiency gains and service improvements.

“GBB has worked closely with Gus on multiple route optimization projects since 2013, as a subcontractor with Univerus and C2Logix,” said Chris Lund, P.E., GBB Executive Vice President. “We are very familiar with his work ethic, fleet management expertise, and enthusiasm and we look forward to a seamless integration into GBB Project Teams to enhance the depth of services we provide.”
“Collection accounts for a substantial share of solid waste management costs, and I’m passionate about uncovering efficiencies through route optimization technologies, as well as helping my clients apply the same optimization techniques to meter reading and snow removal if applicable,” said Esposito. “I thrive on leading initiatives that improve service quality while saving time, reducing environmental impact, and lowering operational costs.”
Prior to joining GBB as an Associate, Mr. Esposito was Project Manager and Product/Customer Support Manager for the Route Optimization Division of Univerus (formerly C2Logix) for 12 years. He directed over 60 public- and private-sector waste and recycling route optimization projects, strategically overseeing the implementation and performance analysis of proprietary applications. These efforts resulted in the achievement of up to 50% route efficiency gains for clients. In addition to solid waste and recycling collection routing, he successfully completed hundreds of snow maintenance, street sweeping, and other fleet-based routing projects.
Prior to that, he was Transportation Dispatch & Operations Supervisor for over two years for a ground transportation and logistics company specializing in freight services including LTL, truckload, and intermodal/drayage. Supervising dispatch operations for over 38 drivers, he created and optimized daily routes to improve on-time performance and reduce operating costs.
Based in Chicago, IL, Mr. Esposito can be reached at gesposito@gbbinc.com or (847) 372-8567.
