In late May, the Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority published the latest edition of its WasteWatch newsletter with a feature on the new report from the Baltimore County Solid Waste Work Group. Completed by a multi-disciplinary team led by GBB, with EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. as a key sub-contractor, the plan has created a comprehensive pathway to less waste and a more inclusive, livable, and vibrant Baltimore County. The article discusses the process behind the development of the plan, how multiple stakeholders were involved, and summarizes the 19 recommendations.
