Lee County, FL Contracts with Tetra Tech and GBB to Develop Long-Term Integrated Waste Management Plan
As part of the County’s plans for the management of its solid waste over the next 20 years, Tetra Tech/GBB will perform a waste characterization study, an evaluation of the County’s current system, a review of regional systems and national best practices, an evaluation of available technologies, a needs forecast, and an analysis of options.
American Chemistry Council Publishes GBB Report on Modern Technologies for Mixed Waste Processing
The ACC released a supplemental report to the one released in 2015 entitled “The Evolution of Mixed Waste Processing Facilities.” The reports, authored by GBB, aim to help communities, recyclers, and other decision-makers better understand the evolution of technologies available for mixed waste processing.

Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority Shortlists 4 Developers for Integrated Waste Management Project Opportunity
The VIWMA received 12 statements of qualifications in response to a RFQ for the development of an Integrated Waste Management Project using the waste streams currently available and regulated by the VIWMA. After careful review and evaluation, 4 private developer teams were shortlisted to participate in the next step of the procurement process.
GBB Assists City of Allentown, PA with RFP for Municipal Solid Waste & Recyclables Collection, Disposal, and Related Services
With GBB’s assistance, Allentown issued a RFP to select a contractor that will transport the collected MSW and Recyclables to a location approved, and/or contracted by, the City. Firms are asked to submit proposals for two base contract period options.

Chris Lund Promoted to GBB Senior Vice President
Christopher A. Lund, P.E., has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President. He joined GBB in 2008 as a Senior Project Engineer and was promoted to Vice President in 2009. In 2013, he joined the firm’s ownership group.
