Ms. Rico is an experienced Project Manager with a focus on helping communities sustainably manage waste and recover resources through alternative streams including recycling, composting, and circular economy initiatives. With a history in the sustainable interior architecture and planning industry, she is now focused on creating sustainable change on a community and regional scale. She recently earned a Master of Science degree in Resilient and Sustainable Communities to enhance and advance her knowledge in sustainability and resiliency, climate change, and strategies and initiatives to support responsible and equitable community development.
Prior to joining GBB, she was a Fellow in the Sustainable Cities Institute at the National League of Cities. She also has over 9 years of experience in the sustainable interior architecture and planning industry.
