Much is still unknown regarding the impact of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), a group of approximately 3,500 manmade chemical compounds, on the environment. While the big questions are “How bad is it?” and “How bad will it get?”, impacts on landfill compliance monitoring programs are anticipated.
