As part of the Municipal Solid Waste Recycling Plan for Palm Beach County, Florida, GBB advised the County on waste generation and composition, yard waste collection system alternatives, and processing alternatives, including system design and operation, facility siting, equipment needs, and an operating plan. GBB also provided recommendations on how to involve the private sector in meeting recycling goals such as integrating the existing private wood recycling efforts with the in-vessel biosolids composting operation.
