GBB assisted Baltimore County with its grant writing efforts in response to the Request for Proposals issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for two Bipartisan Infrastructure grant opportunities:

• Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling Grant Program
• Recycling Education and Outreach Grant Program, Model Recycling Program Toolkit, and School Curriculum

As part of the effort, the GBB Project Team developed a grant outline, budget draft, and document checklists for a grant application to expand the County’s current MRF operations, minimizing landfill disposal and GHG emissions. GBB also helped the County identify potential partners to strengthen the grant proposal and support project implementation. GBB then worked with the County’s team to write the grant narrative, budget, budget narrative, and additional sections as needed.
